LIPSYNC SOUND TEAM NOMINATED AT BAFTA CRAFT AWARDS London, UK - 17 APRIL 2012 - LipSync Productions, the investment and equity company, and LipSync Post, the leading post-production facility, is proud to support two Televison series completed at LipSync which have been nominated at the 2012 BAFTA Craft Awards, which takes place on 13 May, at The Brewery in East London. LIPSYNC PROMOTES JORDAN AND CLARKE - New roles being added responsibilities as LipSync focuses on growth - London, UK - 4 April 2012 - LipSync Post, the full service post-production facility, today announced the promotion of two key staff members, Lisa Jordan takes the role of Facility Director, while James Clarke becomes Head of DI. Lisa joined LipSync 10 years ago, most recently running the bookings department. As Facility Director she will have overall responsibility for the smooth running of LipSync Post, managing staff, looking after clients and overseeing schedules. James moves from his old role as DI Supervisor to Head of DI. He will manage the team of colourists and be responsible for the day to day running of the department, liaising with clients and improving on workflows. Peter Hampden, Managing Director, LipSync, said, "It's always satisfying to promote from within, and these promotions are particularly well deserved. Lisa and James have both worked incredibly hard and have contributed considerably to our recent successes. I am confident that they will continue to do so in their new roles." Lisa Jordan said, "I feel very lucky to be part of LipSync's continuing success. The way we run the business is a big part of that, from employing and keeping the best talent to create a relaxed but creative environment. I'm looking forward to taking on these challenges in my new role." LIPSYNC PROVIDES POST SERVICES FOR SKY ATLANTIC DRAME, 'FALCÓN' London, UK - 4 April 2012 - Lipsync has won the contract to provide post-production services for 'Falcón', a £6million budget, 4x60min crime drama produced by Mammoth Screen for Sky Atlantic. The series is due for transmission later in 2012. Peter Hampden, Managing Director, LipSync, said "We're delighted to welcome Mammoth Screen to LipSync for the first time, having long admired the quality of its productions, from 'Wuthering Heights' to 'Bouquets of Barbed Wire'. It's also really exciting to work on a project with Sky Atlantic, which has established a great track record for high quality programmes. 'Falcón' promises to be a sexy and clever take on crime drama and our creative team can't wait to get started." Based on the best-selling novels by Robert Wilson, the series follows Javier Falcón, a Chief Inspector in the Seville police whose personal and professional life is as dark as some of the crimes he investigates. The first two episodes are directed by Pete Travis (Vantage Point, Endgame). The producer, Julia Stannard, worked with LipSync on BBC's poignant Munich air crash drama, 'United'. ![]() |
