LipSync completes full post-production on 'Dean Spanley'

LipSync Post has co-produced and completed full post-production, including Titles, DI, Audio and VFX on Dean Spanley, starring Sam Neill, Jeremy Northam and Peter O'Toole. The film, which sees Sam Neill regress to his previous life as a dog after drinking a rare wine, premiered earlier this year at the Toronto Film Festival.

Peter Hampden, Managing Director of the LipSync Group of Companies said "We are very proud of our investment in Dean Spanley and the fantastic work performed at post to bring it to the big screen looking and sounding so good."

The film, which opened today across the UK, features an intricate illustrated title sequence designed by LipSync's Creative Director Howard Watkins and his graphics team.

"This was an ambitious project as there was so much detail in each section, but we managed to complete it in just six weeks," Watkins said. "The production team gave us more or less free rein once they had seen our ideas, so we were able to be really creative."
