Sheila joined the LipSync Post Visual Effects dept as Head of 2D in April 2006 having previously worked in some of London's largest post houses on major features such as Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Troy, Kingdom of Heaven and The Da Vinci Code.
Graduating from Bournemouth University with a degree in Computer Visualisation and Animation, Sheila went on to specialise in 2D work, starting her career as a Broadcast Graphic Designer at the Middle East Broadcasting Centre in London. She then moved into compositing for children’s TV at Peppers Ghost Productions, leading her into the world of film effects. Following stints at Cinesite Europe Ltd, where she worked on Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, and at The Moving Picture Company working on Mike Bassett: England Manager, she joined Double Negative to work on The Hours and Below. She returned to MPC where she stayed for almost 5 years working on and supervising many films including three major Tim Burton features - Big Fish, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Corpse Bride.
When the opportunity arose to join the team at LipSync Post and help expand their Visual Effects dept Sheila leapt at the chance. Since joining she has supervised the department's work on a number of films including How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, Stardust, 1408 and The Bourne Ultimatum.
