LipSync is delighted to see three of its post-production film projects featured at the 40th anniversary Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2015. LipSync provided post-production services as well as equity investment services for London Road, London Fields and Kajaki. The strong showing at TIFF follows the success of seeing 9 LipSync film projects at the London Film Festival last year.
London Fields, a cult thriller based on Martin Amis’ novel and directed by Mathew Cullen, benefits from LipSync’s equity investment and full post services, including some complex VFX work. The Nicola Six Ltd production starring Billy Bob Thorton, Cara Delevingne and Johnny Depp will premiere at TIFF 2015 in September before release later this year.
Documenting the 2006 Ipswich serial murders, the acclaimed adaption of London Road produced by BBC Films and Cuba Pictures has also been selected to feature at the festival. Rufus Norris directed both the original National Theatre stage version and the film production, for which LipSync provided equity investment, VFX, sound mix and titles.
Also to be featured at TIFF this year is Kajaki, directed by Paul Katis. Based on a true story, the modern British war film set in the midst of the Afghanistan conflict features a fleet of CGI Chinook helicopters created by LipSync’s talented VFX team. LipSync also provided full post-production services and equity investment.
