Wolf Hall leads the Bafta Craft Nominations for 2016

BBC drama Wolf Hall has received six nominations at this year’s Bafta Television Craft Awards, which honour the behind-the-scenes talent working in TV.

Wolf Hall is nominated in the Costume Design, Editing: Fiction, Make-up & Hair Design, Photography & Lighting: Fiction, Sound: Fiction and Writer: Drama categories.

Following closely with four nominations are Sky’s Arctic thriller Fortitude, BBC magical fantasy Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell and espionage drama London Spy, also BBC.

Theatre adaptation The Sound of Music Live! (ITV) and Shane Meadows’ This is England ’90 (C4) received three nominations.

Casting director Nina Gold will receive the Special Award at the ceremony.

Gold is being recognised for her work across a productions such as Game of Thrones, Wolf Hall, London Spy and The Fall. It is the first time the Special Award will be presented to a casting director.

The ceremony will be hosted by Stephen Mangan and will take place in London on Sunday 24 April.
